Beautiful Butterflies

Props: 
Live butterfly-let children release after story time if season is appropriate
Dried butterflies (found, not killed!)
Straw (to explain what a proboscis is--natural history)
Butterfly weed or butterfly bush flowers (purple ones would match Kipper's story below)
